New Japanese ‘Model’

Japanese Android

Okay, so I guess this is strictly OT, but when I saw this story I just couldn’t resist posting it here. Does a ‘female’ Japanese android qualify for inclusion in Asian Sirens?

  1. Aha! I thought about posting this last week, but decided it had not much to do with ‘models’. (I could resist ;-))

    I don’t think it qualifies…

  2. No you can’t argue about taste, but if you look at the faces I think the above female is more realistic than the realdolls plastic smile

  3. I agree – although I think Mai looks good for a doll, this Japanese android looks a lot more ‘real’ than any of the realdolls.

  4. “She is designed to look human and although she can only sit at present, she has 42 actuators in her upper body, powered by a nearby air compressor, programmed to allow her to move like a human.”

There’s no telling what Professor Ishiguro is doing to that robot behind closed doors

  5. Its head could move in nine directions and it could gesture with its arm. Four high-sensitivity tactile sensors were placed under the skin of its left arm that made the android react differently to differing pressures.

Can you figure out what the good professor is “commanding” her to do?

  6. I think there are more “right handed” people than “left handed” people so if the model was meant to be used as *wink* the it should be a “right handed” doll. Since I think real girls do it better with right hand ^_^. So I think the doll is meant for shaking hands with strangers.

HAHAHAHA i’m joking … Just trying to ruin it for you all.
