So here’s a reader question:

As always we keep getting a lot of e-mails from readers. Today I found one in my mailbox that was… let’s say… different from most e-mails.

message: The thing is that I would like to be in AdultVideos, and I would like to get in touch with somebody that can help me out. My dream is to go to Tokyo and live there, that’s were the worlds most beautyful girls are…. :)) Please help me, with love Teddy

So who can help Teddy become a pornstar in Japan? πŸ˜‰

  1. It does’nt matter where you decide to pursue a career in porn.If you’re a man trying to get into straight porn: NO ONE IS LOOKING TO HIRE YOU.Besides:PORN IS TOUGH ON MEN.Have you ever tried to have sex in a room with 5 other people watching you? Ever had sex with a cameraman in your face & focusing tight on your package? If you can’t get it up-you will have RUINED the shoot. The director will make sure that you never work in porn again. The woman you’re performing with will be paid AT LEAST twice as much as you.Other than that…it’s a great job if you can get it.Good luck.

  2. I might add that the best way to get into porn is to DIY. Get a good camera. Lighting can be found for cheap @ any pawn shop.Give a friend
200bux per shoot to work the camera. If you can’t get a house-get a motel room.YOU WORK FOR FREE.Pay the chiks 500 to 1000bux.Shoot 5 scenes.Tell one or two of your buddies you’ll buy them some pizza to come over & have sex
with a hot chik.MAKE SURE EVERYBODY IS OVER THE AGE OF 18! MAKE SURE EVERYONE GETS TESTED! MAKE SURE EVERYONE SHOWS ID & SIGNS RELEASES!
Make about a thousand dvd’s. Sell them @ flea markets for 9-15bux…or to online VOD sites…or to adult stores.Total costs: about 7-10GRAND.Yeah you’ll LOSE MONEY the first few times you do it…but oh the fun.

  3. I am quite surprised you posted this Robin – anybody who asks a question like this is, quite frankly, an idiot. This guy obviously has absolutely no idea, and no doubt is totally unqualified for the job. He just wants to go to Japan and f*** Japanese girls. If so, this isn’t the way to do it – if he knew anything at all about Japan or Japanese girls, he’d already know that. This is one of those emails that goes straight into my trash…

  4. Ditto for me doc. I am quite surprised to see this posted as an entry on this board. It’s way off topic, and I agree with the idiot assessment.

  5. I wasn’t going to comment, but this is something to be ridiculed elsewhere (whever that may be)….not posted here.

  6. I think that it sounds as if Teddy is a girl, as most men wouldn’t sign off using “with love”. It sounds as is Stripes has the experience, so assuming Teddy is female perhaps she could take $10,000 over to his place and get his assistance.

  7. I’m assuming Mr. Hood posted this, simply for our amusement.

I admit, I found it, and the resulting discussion, amusing.

  8. @ Dr.Lee and Clint: Didn’t notice the πŸ˜‰ ?!
And it’s also filed under ‘humor’.
Of course I didn’t take it seriously. I’m not an idiot πŸ˜‰ I just thought it was funny and would result in an amusing discussion.

@ Bigfoot Dean: glad you got it! πŸ™‚

  9. I worked on the lighting for a couple of porn shoots in Aus’. Actually, there is nothing sexy about the shoot itself. There is great pressure on the talent to perform. You can feel it in the room. The director might stop and start the scene again and again if they don’t like what they see. There are about 10 people there, maybe more. They are all waiting for the actor to get it right so that they can go home for the day. I think our man Teddy would be disappointed with the whole thing.

  10. Teddy: here’s how you break into the field: you have the choice of either bringing in a smoking hot new female star into the field with you, thus making you a package contract deal. Judging from your level of brains, common sense, and worldliness, that option is highly unlikely. The best road for you (the Hershey highway as it were) is to prove yourself in the realm of gay porn. Make about 500 vids, establish yourself as the superstud you are, and you will have the credibility you will need to make it in the straight porn world. They will not be able to deny your prodigious talents and powers.

  11. Well, I didn’t think Robin’s initial posting of this was funny (yes I did notice the whink, but I thought it was just silly and off-topic), but I do have to admit – some of the responses have been quite amusing!

  12. This is silly but I’ll give a serious answer. If you ain’t fluent in Japanese then forget it. If Teddy is a chick, then be a slut and take it in the arse and or go the fluffer route and you can eventually make it πŸ˜›

If Teddy is a dude and a foreigner, then you have a snowball’s chance in hell in making it. If you are shy, can’t speak Japanese, or get a stiffy on command with a bunch of people looking at you impatiently so they can shoot the scene and go home, then forget it. Also, guys in JAV don’t make that much money and do alot of grueling work. So unless you go there and get a second job, you won’t make enough yen to sustain a living since the cost of living is high in Japan.

My advise is to either win the lottery and make your own porn, start out in gay porn doing things I don’t even want to know about, or find an ad for a group sex shoot where like 100+ dudes is needed and break in that way.

  13. For the record, the reason Teddy has signed off “with love” is because he no doubt thinks he is talking to the Asian girls featured on AS – this is a common factor with these sorts of idiots as well. Teddy is most certainly a (very stupid) guy.

Curtis G. would like to know who this model in The Gap sign is. She looks familiar, but he can’t place her. Anyone?

  1. Haha! I used to work at the Gap! It was a lot like cleaning our room then having complete strangers come and mess everything up, only you had to do it for 8 hours. Reminds me of college actually… haha! Good times, good times.

  2. Don’t worry Mr. Hood. They would have to be smart enough to correct the bad link posted.

Then they would just get fully clothed and posed models…nothing that would keep them away from Asian Sirens for long, IMO.

    :#)

  3. Good looking woman but she looks a tad “bigger” in this picture because she usually looks like a tooth pick. Maybe I’ve just seen older photos. She must of drank a Coke or something.

  4. I know this is a bit off topic but has anyone seen that GE commercial for GE medical devices the one with the guy that falls in love with the woman in china and she turns out to be a doctor?

I’d like to know who that is! If I can cap a pic from a recording I’ll send it… (to whom and how I’m not sure)

  5. Not really one of my favorites — with the right make-up she’s pretty enough but without it she’s just okay. And by okay, I mean a 6 or 7 on the Tsingtao scale.

Aaron is looking for the name of this Asian model that he found at a stockphoto site.

Now we all know that there are a lot of beauties on those sites, but never with a name… So who can help him find this girl? πŸ™‚

  1. To answer Curtis G.’s question, just send us a message (either to Robin or the “Contact Asian Sirens” link), and we’ll see what we can do!

  2. this one may be too hard. stock photos sometimes are taken of people who aren’t professional models or are mere commercial models – part of the point of stock photos is to not incorporate any famous people or could-be celebrities. i actually once saw a casting call for stock photos in a local newspaper, so you may be just out of luck with this girl

  3. Yeah, Christine could definitely be right.

Is it just me, or is this girl a little cross-eyed? I don’t know why, but I often find slightly cross-eyed Asian girls quite cute!

  4. LOL Lawboy. She’s not cross-eyed, she’s just zeroing in on a certain male appendage! (Hope that doesn’t violate the blog guidelines.)

  5. Well, I’m trying to not be envious, or snarky, but my requests and suggestions tend to disappear down an Internet black hole.

I’ll go cry myself to sleep now. πŸ˜‰

  6. All tips I receive go into a mail folder. It’s getting quite full πŸ™‚ I look in this folder often and pick the tips I like most…
So either I’ve not gotten around to them, or didn’t like the models… 😐

  7. Key to model success, is symmetrical features. This woman, as beautiful as she is, has an asymmetrical face.I think the light and re-touch hurts that rather than helps.

  8. she does have an asymmetrical face, but there have been plenty of asymmetrical faced successful models, i’m sure. symmetry is sometimes sufficient for beauty, but not necessary.

  9. Bilateral facial symmetry is actually quite rare, even among much-photographed “famous people” and “beautiful people” – celebs, movie stars, models. I saw an interesting student project several years in which the author had taken frontal photo’s of well-known folks, deleted one half and digitally supplied a symmetric second half. She then did a simple “Who is this?” questionaire. Often there was a “Well it sort of looks like…” response, but in many cases, the face simply became unrecognizable!

  10. I guess the key point here is how obvious the asymmetry is; strictly speaking, absolutely nobody has a perfectly symmetrical face (or anything else).

  11. i totally was thinking about symmetry differently from urgal – i was thinking of vertical symmetry, like the distance from the top of the forehead to the eyebrow, the length of the nose, etc. that’s how my hairdresser measures symmetry since it’s important for when she styles hair. it seems extremely unsurprising that bilateral symmetry is uncommon, but i think vertical symmetry is a lot more common. for ex., my hairdresser says i have a really symmetric face (vertically) but i don’t think that i could ever model LOL

  12. Christine: I don’t follow. The human face is (approx) symmetric about the vertical axis bisecting the chin & nose. But what is the (apparently horizontal) axis of symmetry that you have in mind? I’m puzzled!

  13. it’s actually called harmonism, not symmetry. but sometimes people use the word symmetry to describe balanced facial proportions. here the distances between different facial features are taken into account – there is some symmetry, i think, required…like the distance from your forehead to your nose, then your nose to your eyes (hopefully not different distances for each eye, etc.).

  14. I was just wondering…what exactly is the singaporean look. I thought it was pretty much a mixture down there with many different looks. Maybe I don’t know or something. I think she looks oriental and certainly not island like. Butttt…her harmoniously assymetrical face is quite nice in my unexpert opinion, butttt it’d be better if I could see her naked…or at least wearing some sort of neglige’ or thong/g-string. Oooh yeah…that’d be oh so nice. πŸ™‚

  1. or is he looking for this girl, from a different ‘sublymonal’ ad?

I, for one, would like to know this chick’s name…

  2. The name of the actress I am looking for, is the one in the Sprite ‘sublymonal’ ad who is laying down and the two small nurses drive up and shock her tongue with lemon/lime her eyes get big and she springs up. Thanks!
    Matt Wilson

  3. Matt, you’re referring to the commercial that I linked previously. Are we sure the chick who is lying down is Asian?
