Jenny-O in Penthouse Magazine

Jenny-O in Penthouse Magazine (Photography: Adam Yurman)

After Katie Aston and Tiara Lestar I think Jenny-O will be the third model of photographer Adam Yurman that becomes a big hit on the internet in a short time. Adam told me he found her eating noodles late one night at an outdoor stand. She will be in the Penthouse mags around the world soon. The picture above is the opening page in the 20 page layout of Jenny-O in Thailands Penthouse Magazine that was released last week and can also be found at Adam’s Pacific Beauty.

  1. Yurman has a talent for finding beautiful women. It’s amazing how many girls from Pacific Beauty became successful internet & print models. Many of them ended up at Asian4You. Isn’t PB’s Marta same as A4U’s Trista?

  2. Hmmm, another abuse of the term ‘supermodel’. No matter how good she is, a new model cannot by definition be a ‘supermodel’. Also, what nationality is she? If she’s another Thai she’s a pretty classy one.

Regarding Yurman’s ability to find new talent, are his models really better than others’, or is he simply better connected?

  3. There are a few photographers that have the connections and the taste to choose the real beauties for their work. Adam is one of them and he proved that for more than 10 years now.

  4. I just read the auto biography on Yurman’s site.

From my experience shooting the girls i’ve shot, there comes a point where you don’t have to look for the beautiful women.. they find you.

  5. This is fun discussing different points of views and experiences related to shooting models and new faces. I would like to add my own perspective on finding models or as Roley says, having them find you. I think I am at the point where models go out of their way to find me as I have dozens of models find me every week but I have decided I don’t really want to shoot the models that find me anymore. They seem to be the same ones that find everyone else as well thanks to the Internet. These days I much prefer discovering hidden talent that no one has seen anywhere. I also find that gals who I find this way have a fresh approach towards the process and are not as difficult to deal with as some “seasoned pros”. Since I have a calendar to produce every year , I prefer not to shoot the same models that appear in all the other Asian calendars. Finding great new faces that no one has seen anywhere before has become not only a challenge but really fun.
