This is English actress Parminder Nagra. She goes by the nickname “Mindi” and obviously she is of Indian decent. Her popularity rose significantly in 2002 with her lead role in the UK film Bend It Like Beckham.
Currently, she can be seen playing Dr. Neela on the popular television show ER. I’m always glad when TV shows like ER feature ethnic actors among their predominantly white casts. Chinese actress Minga Na was a regular on ER until 2004.
In general, I’m not a huge fan of the Indian “look”, but I thought Mindi was cute enough to feature on Asian Sirens. Many Indian women have strikingly beautiful eyes and Mindi is no exception. Check out more of her images by clicking on
I know there was a lot of past discussion on the appropriateness of posting Indian ladies on Asian Sirens. When all was said and done it was agreed to be OK as long as it was only once in a while. This is my once in a while.

I cant understand some peoples attitudes,India is in the same format of Asiai,pluss there are many beautiful and tallented Indian Ladies such as Parminder,so whats the big deal ?? This “once in a while ” should stop so lets have more Indian ladies

I thought that Parminder was great in Bend It Like Beckham and found her very beautiful as well. My favorite photo is the closeup headshot with her hand on her head.
Also, as I wrote in the previous discussion, I don’t agree with that conclusion either. I think that if we come across beautiful Indian models/actresses/musicians that we shouldn’t hesistate to feature them. We shouldn’t discriminate or hold them to a higher standard because they are South Asian.
Well, I don’t feel like getting into that discussion again everytime we feature an Indian lady. But I only think this site should focus on the more oriental/pacific looking women. Don’t ask me why, I do not want to discriminate at all, but it’s just a feeling I have. And I think that was what Marco also did when he had this site in the late 90’s, early 00’s… It is a fact that Indian and Pakistani women look very different (although very beautiful) from what this site was all about.
Last time I checked I thought India was in the Asia continent. The site is called Asian-sirens not oriental/pacific-sirens? Not that I really care, this was a good choice of girl to post she is quite a beauty.
