Porn Browser Heatseek Launches

Heatseek is a pornography focused browser that quietly launched yesterday. The point of this software is to make porn browsing more efficient and more secure. The browser is available on Windows machines only, and is built on top of Internet Explorer.

I’ve just installed the free edition of Heatseek to check it out myself. Looks nice but it’s a pity they didn’t build in a RSS-reader. Michael Arrington of TechCrunch, who was in Amsterdam last week, was one of the first who did a review on the porn browser.

  1. I find it amusing that it has all these features to cover up your browsing history, yet the mere fact that you have this software installed would be like telling the whole world you’re seriously into porn! 😉

  2. Intersting article about current browser usage stats: Link

Looks like we Aussies are leading the charge in Mozilla/FireFox usage! One thing that’s never mentioned in these articles is the fact that many, many people who use alternative browsers identify themsleves as Windows IE, so they can access more web sites. So in reality, IE usage isn’t as high as these stats suggest, and Mac usage is even higher than these stats reveal.

  3. Lee, that long URL was causing the usual layout problem, but just in this one thread. I changed it to a link as you see above.

  4. No prob. However, for me it is actually causing more layout problems now (in the “more comments” page). Which browser are you using?
