A model parades a body painting artwork named "Dragon," which costs 12 hours to get finished, at the "MAC (Make-up Art Cosmetics, an US-based brand name) Body Painting Cheong-sam Spectacular" held in Shanghai Toronto Art Gallery on October 28, 2005. Some 23 body painting artists from countries and regions aroud the world such as Australia, Canada, South Korea and so on, gives an on-spot improvisational design and painting on models.

Lin Chi Ling - Taiwan Super Model

Thank you to my good friend Khwan for bringing this model to my attention! Beautiful Lin Chi Ling is said to be the most popular model in Taiwan at the moment. I was not able to gather a lot of personal information about her. However, I did learn she is age 32 and has recently recovered from a horseback riding accident. Does anyone have any additional info on Lin Chi Ling?

Michelle Krusiec

I have never seen a film with her in it, but that doesn't matter does it? She is Asian and beautiful. (I have Nixon on dvd, so finally a reason to put in the player one of these days ;-))

Michelle was born in 1974 in Fallon, Nevada, USA. Her mother is of Chinese descent and her father is caucasian*. She won the "Audience Choice" award for her film Saving Face (2004) at Taiwan's 42nd Golden Horse film awards on 13 November 2005 (Golden Horse film awards are the Chinese-speaking equivalent to the Oscars). Funny trivia: while attending Virginia tech, she went to a workshop featuring director Oliver Stone and actually fell asleep during the workshop but eventually landed a small role in his film Nixon.

Asian-Sirens: What kind of photography do you like?
Adam Yurman: For me, it's not the subject matter so much that draws my attention to a photo but rather the use of contrast, texture, color and lighting that pulls me in. If all the elements are combined artistically to create an interesting effect, then I want to take a second look. Of course a sexy or cute model's photo will get my attention like anyone else, but then it's not photography I'm thinking about there.

Asian-Sirens: When did you decide to become a photographer?
Adam Yurman: I was convinced I was going to be a musician for life and it was going along pretty well until I found out how much freedom one can have from being a successful photographer.
