Her last chat hosted by EXTRA was a tremendous hit and tonight Sung Hi is here celebrate Valentine's Day and affairs of the heart. Welcome, Sung Hi! BP SungHi: Thanks for joining me! ---------- EXTRApr: Our first question comes from Goto44.... Question: How does it feel to be the first Asian model to be featured solo on a Playboy cover? BP SungHi: Very proud. I feel like I'm representing all the asian actresses in the business. I've gotten such a big response from the community! They're proud of me and feel like I'm trying to represent asian women in a better light. It's one of my greatest accomplishments. ---------- EXTRApr: From MTall2815..... Question: I've noticed your one tattoo. What else do you have tattooed and pierced? BP SungHi: I just have the one (butterfly) tatoo. I always wanted one and chose the butterfly because of what it represents for me.(A butterfly starting off as a caterpillar and coming out a beautiful creature) Both outer and inner beauty! ---------- EXTRApr: From Loonie67...... Question: What is your ethnic background? BP SungHi: I am full korean. A lot of people think I am eurasian or mixed..etc. But I am korean. ---------- EXTRApr: From MrShy48...... Question: Who are your favorite Playmates to hang out with? BP SungHi: Actually I don't hang out with them. I do have my favorites. I think that christina leodirni, marina corwin, lisa marie scott and echo johnson are all beautiful. I've actually had the pleasure of meeting some of them and they're real down to earth. They're really great. ---------- EXTRApr: From H McCoy45........ Question: Sung, my friend Chris Loves you...do you have a fan club he can join? BP SungHi: Yes I do. It's on the internet...type in my name in a search engine...and there is black pearl productions www.blackpearlprod.com..... ---------- EXTRApr: From MTall12815...... Question: Have you done any other nudes besides Playboy? If so, what was it? :) BP SungHi: I usually try not to do too many outside playboy. Playboy is the classiest! I have done a show called edenquest..... One version was for regular tv and the other was topless for european and pay per view. I stay away from other nudes outside of playboy. ---------- EXTRApr: From APEX iN 9..... Question: Is your real name Sandra Kim? BP SungHi: no..my real full name is Sung Hi Li. ---------- EXTRApr: From Home5647...... Question: I see you have lived all over the world? Is this because of your career? What were some of your favorite places and why? BP SungHi: I've traveled quite a bit because of work. I love going to new places. One of my favorites was going to bora bora. They have the most beautiful sunsets. I got to swim with sharks. ---------- EXTRApr: From Klar69565.... Question: I see you have a degree in exercise physiology, where did you go to school and why? BP SungHi: I went to Ohio State University (go buckeyes!) I studied exercise physiology because I wanted to study sports medicine. I wanted to become a doctor. ---------- EXTRApr: From Joshua23....... Question: What do you think of the presence of Asian women in film, tv, etc.? BP SungHi: It has definitely improved in the last couple of years due to mainstream films. Its not quite where it should be yet. The asian community in the arts is coming to fruition now. I'm hoping things will improve further, its still a tough business for minorities. We're usually not hired as "The girl next door" kind of look. I'm working a lot more now than a couple of years ago. ---------- EXTRApr: From CA Drumme..... Question: Are you appearing at any shows or conventions around So. Cali soon? BP SungHi: Not any conventions, Im currently working on two books for overseas markets that are out in may....but in Korea...not in Southern California. I did a mountain dew commercial. I havent scheduled anything as far as touring goes. ---------- EXTRApr: From Jmava21.... Question: Has fame and wealth changed you much from Korea? BP SungHi: Well I still don't consider myself famous...and certianly not wealthy. If I were either I wouldn't allow myself to change. My friends and family wouldn't allow me to :) I think I'm still the same. ---------- EXTRApr: From ILuVSuNgH....... Question: SunG Hi Lee: i'm a big fan of yours and i wanted to know if u had a valentine and if u don't can i be yours? BP SungHi: I am seeing someone right now. Nothing super serious, but I'm a pretty faithful girl.... Maybe next year? :) ---------- EXTRApr: From MTall2815..... Question: My favorite models are YOU, Alley Baggett, Patricia Ford, & Lisa Boyle. How come none of you have been a centerfold? You deserve it much more than those I've seen so far. BP SungHi: That's a good question....unfortunately playboy works in a couple of different divisions. there is the main magazine division and the second publishes the newstand specials. Books of lingerie...etc. We've gotten to work with the newstand special division...sometimes it's hard to cross over! Write in and request us as playmates! Im sure the other girls would appreciate it as well. ---------- EXTRApr: From APEX iN 9....... Question: Do you currently live in California? BP SungHi: Yes I do. I moved here two years ago for work and I absolutely love it. ---------- EXTRApr: From RPMORL...... Question: who are your favorite people in life? BP SungHi: One is my grandmother who is no longer with us ...my baby brother and my friends. They're the greatest! ---------- EXTRApr: From BURNALL1......... Question: who do you see as the most challenging thing for Asian Americans today? BP SungHi: Well....I think probably breaking the stereotypes. A lot of people beleive that asian americans immigrate from another country....do well in math and become engineers...but we're not all that way. The cultural and language barriers are tough as well. ---------- EXTRApr: From CA Drumme.... Question: What does it feel like modeling nude in front of many people? BP SungHi: At first I was very nervous, it took me a few months to decide to work with playboy. Really they are some of the most professsional and fun and great people to work with. I love working for them. I tend to think about professional things when i'm posing.(lighting, poses etc.) ---------- EXTRApr: From MrShy48.......... Question: What's the perfect Valentine's date in your mind? BP SungHi: I'm not big on flashy things. I would prefer something very quaint and romantic, a good bottle of wine, a romantic movie and being close to the person that you love. I don't need the expensive dinner and gifts. ---------- EXTRApr: From Qst4Fir4....... Question: That is intersting that you were discovered at a night club, tell us the story! BP SungHi: After high school I was going to a club in dallas and the owners got to know me. they were having a fashion show and hired a modeling agency. The owners wanted a variety of models and they asked me as a favor to do the show. The agent from the modeling agency asked me to start working with them. That's how I got into the business. ---------- EXTRApr: From GoodyBoy........=bq Question: Do you have a boyfriend or husband? BP SungHi: I am seeing someone right now...and no..never had a husband. I'd like to get married sometime in the future. Right now I'm really involved in my work. ---------- EXTRApr: From Kinger77..... Question: When did you first start modeling? BP SungHi: I started modeling when I was 18. I only became serious about it about 2 years ago. ---------- EXTRApr: From Cab Cala.... If I was in an accident I would hope that someone would want to be with me for my inner beauty as well. ---------- EXTRApr: From Lpo9887...... Question: Do you still model in the nude? BP SungHi: If the opportunities with playboy continue, absolutely. Working with playboy has done a lot for me. They make me and everyone look beautiful. ---------- EXTRApr: From RPMORL... Question: How has fame changed your public life.... do you have a body guard? BP SungHi: No bodyguard. I'm not recognized that well yet. I don't think fame has changed my life that much, except for giving me incentive for working harder. All of you being out there this evening just shows me that what I'm doing is paying off. I haven't had to change my daily life at all. ---------- EXTRApr: From Killer546....... Question: Are your legs insured? ;-) BP SungHi: no there not ...i'm not insured yet! ---------- EXTRApr: From Joshua23.... Question: Is it important for you to keep an Asian name, rather than an anglicized name? I think it shows individuality. BP SungHi: I love my name. It was given to me by a friend of my fathers. His job was actually to name children when they are born. I don't see a reason to change it. Although people have a hard time pronouncing it. ---------- EXTRApr: From Josh17719........ Question: do you want to act in movies later on , or have you already? BP SungHi: I have been in different films already. I did a film 2 years ago. I have one film in april and one in may. Film is ultimately my goal...or a sitcom! ---------- EXTRApr: From Jhguch.... Question: I was wondering if you had any info on your past movies like the one about the Korean war thing or the one about you surfing... Hey, can you really surf? That's pretty fly... I'm from Hawaii but I can't even do that...tried bodyboarding and its easier. BP SungHi: I'm not a pro though. I learned to surf in Hawaii on a tandem board with a friend. I've surfed on the north shore. I'm excited to learn more. ---------- EXTRApr: From MrShy48....... Question: Have you ever had any bad experiences with your fame? BP SungHi: The only bad experience that I can think of is sometimes people make assumptions about me. They assume that since a woman is attractive and uses that....that they are self centered or not that down to earth. It bothers me that people assume those things. ---------- EXTRApr: From Kroosh...... Question: I heard that you were in a movie called "The Lost Reed." Is that out on video? What other acting projects do you have planned? BP SungHi: That's the living reed and that was the film I did 2 years ago. I played the role of Hannah. It's in editing (in korea) right now. ---------- EXTRApr: A question from ElMasser........ Question: How old are you and do you plan on marrying the man you are with? BP SungHi: I am 26 (27 shortly) and no plans for marriage at the moment. I'm taking things slowly. ---------- EXTRApr: From RPMORL....... Question: what is your fav. movie/ BP SungHi: I would say that I have a few....braveheart, basketball diaries..and trainspotting. ---------- EXTRApr: Our last question comes from MidniteEy....... Question: Dear SungHi: would you go to north korea to promote playboy BP SungHi: Thats a tough one. North korea is under communism. For them to accept me there is in itself a huge controversy. If I was invited to speak over there absolutely. ---------- EXTRApr: We would like to thank Playboy model Sung Hi Lee for joining us this evening on EXTRA Online's CyberTalk(tm)!
